What We Offer
For women, we cover intimate waxing from bikini line through Brazilian to Hollywood, along with legs, arms, underarms, face and body. For men, we offer full body waxing including a men's Hollywood.
We also offer an annual Hollywood package for clients who wax regularly, which works out considerably cheaper than booking individually across the year.
Comfort and Technique
Intimate waxing is as much about the therapist as the wax. Ours work quickly and without fuss, which makes more difference to how the appointment feels than any product does.
We use hot wax for intimate and facial areas, which grips the hair rather than the skin and is noticeably more comfortable than strip wax on sensitive areas. Strip wax is used for larger areas such as legs where speed matters more.
Before Your Appointment
Hair needs to be around a quarter of an inch, roughly two to three weeks of growth. Shorter than that and the wax cannot grip it; much longer and the wax struggles to remove it cleanly.
Avoid exfoliating or using strong actives such as retinol on the area for a couple of days beforehand, and skip sunbeds and hot baths immediately before your appointment. If you are taking oral acne medication such as isotretinoin, tell us — waxing is not suitable during treatment or for some months afterwards.
Aftercare
Expect some redness for a few hours. Avoid hot baths, saunas, swimming pools, sunbeds and strenuous exercise for 24 hours, and skip heavily fragranced products on the area.
Begin gentle exfoliation after 48 hours and continue two or three times a week. This is the single most effective thing you can do to prevent ingrown hairs between appointments.
